The creation of an elliptical frame requires a level of craftsmanship that standard joining cannot accommodate. Manufactured at our New York facility, our oval frames provide an exquisite, museum-grade presentation for heirloom canvases, vintage photography, and specialized giclee prints.

How Oval Sizing Works

Sizing an elliptical frame is incredibly straightforward. The frame size you order matches the exact size of your artwork. If you have an 11" × 14" portrait, it perfectly fits an 11" × 14" oval frame.

Because the frame is curved, the four corners of a standard rectangular photograph will naturally be hidden behind the frame's edge. If your artwork contains critical details in the corners, our master artisans will consult with you to custom-cut an archival mat, ensuring the entire rectangular image is displayed flawlessly within the elliptical window.
